I'd suggest that your asking price is more than double the top fair price for 846A Valencia pair.
Altec Lansing Vintage Speakers
Hi - I'm trying to find a good home for a pair of Altec Iconic Voice of The Theater speakers (circa 1976.) They are 416-Z, 806A Impedence 16 Ohms. These were the pride and joy of late husband. He purchased them new in the 1970's and had them rewired (internally) about 15 years ago. They have incredible sound and are in great condition. I'm hoping to find someone out there who would take good care of them and really enjoy them as he did. I'm attaching a picture. Please contact me at the forum if you are interested.

I agree--you'll want to lower your asking price--$2500 will scare people away! I sold my 846A Valencias and a pair of AS 101's (Valencia drivers that came "stock" in Heath cabs) last year for $1,000 per pair (my asking price). The only reason I asked that much for them was that they were in phenomenal condition inside and out and I had paid a good amount for them. I would suggest you list your speakers on AudiogoN--that's where I sold mine and each pair sold in about a week. A guy from NYC drove over 5 hours each way to pick up one pair (and paid $1,000 cash), and a guy from California bought the other pair. He mailed me a cashiers check to cover the $1000 and he also paid for the shipping and crating costs (FedEx) to California. I used the $2,000 to buy two mint pairs of Model 19's (one pair for $1070 which was a 45 minute drive from my house, and one pair in New Jersey for $1300 which is a 6 hour drive each way from my house)..... I don't trust paypal for high dollar items--too many horror stories about "chargebacks" from buyers trying to get stuff for free! Just google "paypal chargeback scam" and you'll see what I mean..... By the way, your ad says circa 1977. Those speakers are from the late 60's or early 70's--by 1973/74 the Valencia 846B was in production which is visibly and audibly different than the 846A's that you are selling. By 1976 even the 846B was no longer in production AFAIK......
